<p>I consider myself an economic socialist and anti-capitalist, and social conservative. As
a general overview, I am an advocate for left-wing ideology grounded in fact and reliant on
evidence, focused on people helping others, and fair treatment of everyone, regardless of
who they are, their beliefs, and their status in any aspect of life. I am also an advocate
for the fair treatment and welfare of disabled people, and support neurodivergent
thinking.</p>
<p>While the capitalist ideology is that everyone can be free, it has turned out to not be
the case in many occasions, with people still reliant on employers employing them, not
making them redundant or firing them, and paying them enough to not only live on, but also
to be able to do what they want to do in their lives, such as activities. There is no
freedom when the world is so reliant on the people already running the show. Mental health
issues and lack of medical care are 2 of the most prominent effects of capitalism, and it
gets <em>much</em> worse when it concerns disabled people, who have been put through gross
neglect, and, arguably, torture, at the hands of capitalist governments, such as the British
<a href="https://conservatives.com/">Conservatives</a>.
When the world is run this way, where does the argument against socialism and communism
stand? Contrary to popular belief, and misinformation, socialism and communism are not
defined by authoritarianism or dictatorship; they are separate issues unrelated to political
ideology, and it is perfectly possible to have an authoritarian capitalist/conservative
government. While money is important, it is not more important than the well-being of
citizens, and does not replace human rights.</p>
